EURUSD ANALYSIS -TRADERS GUIDE

EUR/USD is the most liquid Forex currency in the world and as a result the trading spreads charged by Brokers are very tight. In terms of liquidity, EUR/USD is an ideal currency pair for scalpers and day-traders, but although it is a very liquid pair it can not be considered as a volatile pair. You should always keep in mind that the exchange rate of Euro against the US Dollar is highly affected by the monetary policies of ECB and FED. Currently ECB implements a hard-currency policy and FED on the contrary implements a flexible monetary policy. The rules of the game are expected to change in the 2nd quarter of 2014. The main reason for that expected turnaround is obvious, as hard Euro leads Eurozone to an extended recession and to an unemployment of 12.1%.

•Sessions Overlaps and Highest EURUSD Trading Activity:

EUR/USD (as GBP/USD) is more active and liquid between 8:00 am and 12:00 EST (noon) when both the US and the European Markets are open.
