Introduction & Short History
MetaTrader4 or MT4 is a free platform, supported by more brokers (300) than any other trading platform. The software is developed by MetaQuotes Software Corporation, which was found in 2002. By that time (2002), MetaQuotes released the FX Charts online trading platform. MetaTrader-4 is their 4th generation platform and it was completed in 2005. Since then, MT4 is one of the most popular trading platforms worldwide.
